I think I am finally realizing that we all have our own fears, insecurities, dreams and things that make us special. In order to be an actress, I need to embrace humanity in all its forms and not be as quick to judge as I normally am. I also really miss dancing and hope that one day my art will take me full circle.
I am not a personality; I am a real person. I may come across as sweet, quiet, and shy but once you get to know me you realize I'm not that sweet, quiet or shy. I will never be the life of the party and I don't
want to be. I read "How to make Friends and Influence People" but it just seemed like too much effort. I have an amazing husband, amazing family and friends. I have the two cutest dogs in the world. I am a professional worrier but I want to learn not to be. I still believe in fairy tales. I want to be brave enough to really go after my dreams and stop rationalizing myself out of them. I like frolicking though hibiscus fields, I dream of living on the beach in Hawaii, I eat way too much cheese, I am addicted to video games and have had to ban them from my house, I am obsessed with everything science fiction, and have not given up on my childhood dream of breeding a colony of genetically superior land snails. I am not good at sitting behind a desk for any extended period of time but have managed to settle into my day job in public relations and as a fit-model for my husbands optical company I-Studio and find I am actually good at it. I started my very own theater company “Little Hibiscus Productions” in order to create more opportunities for my many talented friends and myself in this crazy entertainment industry that I love. I am still trying to reconcile my need for peace and privacy with my craving for adventure and excitement: All the while hiding from the world on stage.
When I am not out and about, I can be found in my Soho loft playing with my 2 poodle babies, and planning how to take on way more projects than any human should at the same time. All the while wondering where my domestic cooking and cleaning genes are, reading self help books and not implementing any of their advice, and trying to make my husband snork liquids out his nose.
